Kolton & Lydia Ford on-mission at Cattle for Christ International, Inc.

We are writing to share about what God is doing in our life and the exciting opportunity we are being presented with.
Earlier this year, the Lord shared the name of a ministry with Kolton that neither of us had ever heard of, Cattle for Christ. After some research, we found that this Ministry is based in Alabama and works both in the states and worldwide to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We reached out to the ministry and shared that the Lord had led us to them specifically. We weren’t sure what was going to come of it, but we surrendered it to the Lord and prayed that His will be done above all else. The couple that runs the ministry contacted us and informed us that this could be the answer to something they have been praying for. Back in June, we spent a week in Alabama on the ranch to see if it would be an open or closed door. We have been diligently seeking the Lord on if this is something we are meant to pursue. It has been one open door after the next. A part of the ministry that we would be involved in is the Broken Wagon Ranch house. The ranch house welcomes grieving families that have lost a spouse, child, or have a terminally ill child. It gives families a place to come free of charge to spend quality time together, heal, and receive the love of Jesus Christ. We would also be involved in the day-to-day responsibilities on the ranch.
This is a huge step of faith. The Lord is calling us, and we want to be obedient and answer. We ask for your support in prayer. We have only ever known our hometown and this step is going to stretch us, but we are so excited to see what the Lord has in store! His plans are always far greater than our own. Cattle for Christ is a faith based ministry; therefore, we will not receive a salary. In order to work with the ministry full time, we must raise our own salary. We ask you to please seek the Lord before donating to us. If you feel led to donate financially to support us as we work with this ministry, you can donate specifically to us through our home church Spirit of Life. Donations of cash or check can either be dropped off or mailed to the church (Spirit of Life Church - 189 W. Indiana St., Martinsville, IN 46151). Donations can also be made via PayPal through the church’s website by Clicking Here (please note that PayPal will take 3% of the overall donations made through this method). SLC can also provide you with a deduction receipt for your donation.

Spirit of Life Church financially sponsors Churches in Mission and also provides opportunities to volunteer in groups for seasonal projects.

Spirit of Life Church Honduras now has walls up and children's ministry programs launched along side their Sunday adult services! SLC Honduras began in 2018 and continues to grow. *Spirit of Life Church, Honduras, is not a SLC church-plant, but was named in honor of our SLC due to the very generous contributions of SLC members.
